Albany Gastroenterology Consultants, part of Allied Digestive Health, is actively seeking a full-time General Gastroenterologist to join our dynamic and collaborative team. This is an exciting opportunity for growth in a practice that is at the forefront of gastroenterology care.

Our facility comprises 21 gastroenterologists and 16 Mid-Levels, all located at the Washington Avenue Health Complex in Albany, NY. Our Endoscopy suite is conveniently located within the same building as our office

We pride ourselves on specializing in a wide array of gastroenterological services, including Motility, IBD, Hepatology, and Advanced Endoscopy, which encompasses techniques such as POEM and Endobariatrics. For those interested, positions in both General GI and Advanced Endoscopy are available, with potential faculty appointments at Albany Medical Center.

Position Highlights:

  • Work hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
  • Compensation includes paid on-call duties.
  • Generous PTO and CME allowances, along with comprehensive malpractice and benefits coverage.
  • Access to specialized equipment such as Capsule Endoscopy, Hydrogen Breath Test, Infusion Suite, Fibroscan, and AAAHC Certified Endo Suite.
  • A one-year partnership track is available.
  • Weekend on-call responsibilities occur 3-4 times a year.
  • Hospital coverage is required.

Requirements:

  • Board Eligible (BE) or Board Certified (BC) in Gastroenterology.
  • Possession of an unrestricted New York Medical License and DEA in good standing.
