Job Overview: The Reverse Logistics Analyst will coordinate cross-functionally with Distribution Center personnel, the Transportation/Logistics team, Category Directors, Inventory Planners, Ecommerce and Retail channel leaders, Customer Service, IT, Accounting, Legal, and Compliance, among others. You will own minimizing the net impact of customer returns and internally created scrap while also supporting Inventory Planners through pullbacks and other re-balancing activities that address overstocks and obsolete inventory. The analyst will develop and drive continuous improvement initiatives to minimize return costs, improve recovery rates, status and action returned inventory and improve customer satisfaction. This individual is responsible for end-to-end return process management, data analysis, return reason identification, SOP development, and cost reduction initiatives. The role involves collaborating with internal teams, customers, and 3PLs to implement operational solutions that reduce returns, enhance customer satisfaction, and drive process efficiency. Responsibilities: Partner with distribution center team to inspect, sort and process return products, identifying items for refurbishment, resale, or disposal. Work with finance to create process for disposal of product. Work with Merchandising to establish process and RTV policy for each vendor. Conduct regular analysis of return data, identify trends, pinpoint root causes, and work with the relevant teams to implement initiatives to reduce returns and/or the associated costs and negative customer experiences. Ensure hazardous chemical returns are handled in full compliance with DOT, OSHA and EPA standards. Develop, track and report key performance indicators related to reverse logistics. Establish best practices for product refurbishment and liquidation to maximize recovery value. Implement initiatives to minimize return fraud and abuse in marketplace and e-commerce channels. Qualifications: + + Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics 5+ years of experience in reverse logistics or supply chain management Strong analytical skills with experience in KPI development and performance reporting Proficient in ERP, WMS and TMS systems with advanced Microsoft Excel skills Excellent, negotiations and communication skills, with the ability to manage vendors and cross-functional teams Leslie's provides a robust benefits package, including: Comprehensive medical, pharmacy, dental, & vision plan options.
