POSITION SUMMARY: Providing high quality direct and indirect patient-centered care using the nursing process. EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: Completion of an accredited Nursing program and current Registered Nurse license required. Certification in Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and training in PMT and de-escalation techniques within 6 months of hire.
COMPETENCIES: Effective English language communication, basic computer skills, and swift action during patient emergencies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including psychosocial, physical, educational, and cultural aspects.
- Develop and revise individualized treatment plans and administer medications safely and effectively.
- Document patient care, demonstrate flexibility and critical thinking, and participate in psychotherapeutic treatment.
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment, effectively manage violent situations, and collaborate with the treatment team.
