- Must have an active state license
- Coverage: Short term both days & nights ~26 shifts/mo
- EMR system: Meditech
- Specialty board requirement: IM/Critical Care, Pulmonary/Critical Care, Surgical/Critical Care, or Anesthesia/ Critical Care
- Certifications required: ACLS/BLS
- Start date: ASAP
- Shift Times: 6:30a-6:30p, 6:30p-6:30a, all in house
- Staff: 2 MD's/1 APC 7:30a-5:30p & Single intensivists at night
- Credentialing: 6 months
- Temp/Emergency privileges may be available
- Procedures Required: Intubations, central lines, arterial lines & vent management; Additional preferred procedures: lumbar puncture, thoracentesis, bronchoscopy, paracentesis and chest tubes
- Volume: Typically 12-15 w/APC assistance & 24 at night
- No night call
- Open ICU - hospitalists neither admit nor round in the ICU
- All specialty backup available
