Job Title: Human Resources Assistant Reports To: Director of Human Resources Department: Human Resources Key Activities: Basic Function: To coordinate and administer the HR filing and data input systems. To support the H.R. Director, field training team, trainees, recruiting team and benefits coordinator. Job Specifications: Requires a High School diploma or equivalent. Human Resources/Benefits Administration experience is preferred. Must have excellent communication, customer service and problem-solving skills. Must be familiar with office equipment and their operation including a working knowledge of excel and word. Supervisory Dimensions: None. External Contacts: Frequent contact with other employers, airlines, hotels, car rental agencies etc. Internal Contacts: Frequent contact with RSC personnel, above store leaders, managers and employees. Decision Making Responsibilities: Must be able to set priorities and react quickly to the needs of the customers and the work area. Exposure To Confidential Information: Access to extremely confidential personnel records; unauthorized release of information could result in employee dissatisfaction and damage to Company reputation. Key Activities: Develops and maintains the employee filing system. Keeps track of Trainee Tracking forms. Puts out trainee schedule weekly. Verifies employment as requested. Conducts Background checks on potential employees. Sets up travel arrangements for trainees.
