ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY

Are you a finance enthusiast looking to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment? Do you want to develop your skills and knowledge in financial planning and analysis? We're excited to offer an internship opportunity for students to join our Finance team as a Finance Intern

As a Finance Intern, you will have the chance to work alongside our experienced finance team, supporting various financial-related tasks and projects. You will gain exposure to financial planning, analysis, and reporting.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING HERE

You will support our Finance Team, dedicated to Takeda's Research & Development function within our Plasma-Derived Therapies Business Unit, on various financial related tasks including:

  • Support preparation, analysis, and reporting of the annual planning processes (MRP) for R&D.

  • Support an environment & culture of continuous improvement of financial systems and processes to provide most accurate and effective financial information to enable delivery of business commitments.

  • Ensure high quality of financial information and support review of cost centre structure to ensure it meets its organizational and reporting requirements.

  • Support FP&A project lead R&D finance on ad-hoc new projects and initiatives.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Currently enrolled in a university program pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

  • Completed a high school diploma.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for learning and growth.

  • Basic knowledge of financial concepts and principles.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required.
