Lead Veterinary Receptionist

The Customer Service Representative oversees all customer service inquires and assists clients with all of their needs. Ensures customer satisfaction and assesses our client needs. Supports Mission, Vision and Values of Destination Pet.
Sells the services and products of the facility to prospective customers.
Tours prospective clients and visitors through the facility.
Answers the telephone, receives and provides appropriate information according to established procedures to the Practice Manager, Assistant manager and Lead Veterinary Assistant.
Welcomes clients and pet guests and ensures pet guests have the proper up-to-date vaccination records.

Responsible for managing pet veterinary records daily.
Responsible for point-of-sale management including accepting cash, check and credit card payments for services and for end-of-day cash drawer balance.
Explains company and facility policies to customers in a positive manner.
Responds to customer complaints in a professional, courteous manner and acts to satisfactorily resolve the problem; in accordance with Practice and Assistant Manager
Escorts/brings pet guests to/from their enclosure and provides water as needed during the check in or check out process.
Operates the Point-of-Sale system, email, and veterinary software.
Responsible for maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of the lobby and other public areas on a daily basis.

Responsible for weekly social media posting up to 10 posts per week; working in conjunction with the Practice and Assistant Manager.
Completes all required training and attends training sessions as needed/assigned.
After 90-120 days, responsible for training duties for other seasonal non lead CSR's

Takes ownership of the roles and responsibilities working together with the Practice Manager to ensure that clients and pet guests matters are handled in a timely manner.

Responsible for main notes to and from the veterinarian, Lead Veterinary Assistant and Assistant Manager

Responsible to follow up on all daily matters per daily business needs.
Primarily responsible for communication log between front and back of house operations.

Plan and execute dog daycare fun days and events including the creation of flyers, and decisions on product ordering; deliver finalized plans to Practice Manager to ensure proper execution of ordering and events.
Assists other associates as needed.

Pay Range :$16.50-$18.50/hour DOE
