Overview Per Diem General Internist Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center is recruiting a per diem General Internist to join the Section of General Internal Medicine as part of an academic, multi-specialty, primary care practice. The practice is located at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Heater Road clinic, a few miles from the main campus of the hospital. The Internal Medicine team at Heater Road is an integral part of a dynamic Primary Care group that has a focus on clinical and educational quality improvement, population health, and the development of new models of care delivery. We strive to provide team-based, high-value quality care to all patients within an academic setting where teaching, learning, and scholarship are central to our work and mission. Unique aspects of our practice include Internal Medicine physicians who have additional training in Sports Medicine, Sleep Medicine, Functional Medicine, and Addiction Medicine, and we provide the potential for leadership development opportunities. Our integration within Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center provides for unique collaborative relationships across an extensive array of specialties, as well as tremendous technical and administrative support.
