Houston Methodist Sugar Land Hospital seeks a highly skilled and dedicated Cardiovascular Surgeon with 3-5 years of post-training experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in performing a variety of cardiovascular procedures, including complex surgical interventions. This role requires a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care, advancing surgical excellence, and contributing to a collaborative healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities: Perform a range of cardiovascular surgical procedures, including but not limited to coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), aneurysm repair, valve repair/replacement, and vascular surgeries. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient-specific treatment plans. Ensure the highest standards of surgical safety, precision, and quality during all procedures. Provide comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative care, including patient consultations and follow-up appointments. Stay current on advancements in cardiovascular surgical procedures, techniques, and technologies. Qualifications: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution. Board certification or eligibility in Cardiovascular Surgery. Valid Texas medical license (or eligibility to obtain one). Experience with minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgical techniques.
