Danbury Hospital, now part of Nuvance Health, is seeking a full-time Surgical Physician Assistant to join our established and growing Surgical Advanced Practitioner Services program in Danbury, Connecticut, located about 60 miles northeast of New York City and near the border of Westchester and Putnam Counties in New York State. Our busy service of 13 full-time Advanced Practitioners currently provides services to all surgical patients admitted to the hospital, as well as in Observation, Extended stay, Emergency room, and Operating room, including consults, pre and post-operative care as well as OR first assist. Specialties include, but are not limited to, Urology, Orthopedics, Neurosurgical/Spine, Plastics, and ENT. As we grow the program, we will be evolving to a 24/7 service. Some weekend and night coverage is required. Opportunity for full-time nights position for interested candidates.
The ideal candidate will be a board certified physician assistant with previous DaVinci Robotic, surgical and/or patient management experience and/or surgical residency training. $105,000/yr.-$150,000/yr. (Commensurate with experience)
