Lab Technician

Our client, a fortune 500 company, is looking for a Lab Technician, for a 12 month contract, As Lab Technician, you will performs physical and/or mechanical analyses and tests required for research, development, or quality control of processes and products. Job Title: Lab Technician Location: Maplewood MN Monday- Friday 8am to 5pm Pay Range: $18 to $20 per hour w-2 depending upon experience What’s the Job? • Prepare materials and organize for product testing. Assist in laboratory experiments through testing and evaluation of new materials and products based on research. Performs mechanical performance tests required for research, development, or quality control of processes and products. Test or make visual observations on product samples from competitors and communicate test results to the appropriate requester. Conduct hands-on tests with multiple pieces of equipment Follow TMs for various pieces of equipment and aging ovens. Make prototype filter samples with glue, and presses. What’s Needed? High school Diploma or Higher Ability to lift/carry at least 25 pounds. Ability to stand for 2 or more hours at a time and to use a ladder/step stool to work from an elevated surface. Have proficient hand eye coordination and manual dexterity. Strong organizational skills, team worker, self -motivated and results driven. Experience use in Excel and Word. What’s in it for me?
