If you have what it takes and want to be part of our always growing Rosenbauer family, we want to hear from you POSITION SUMMARY The Paint I will prepare the truck for paint by sanding, grinding, waxing, greasing, and applying body filler. They must inspect the truck for flaws, dents, or imperfections and compare it to the spec book to ensure standards are met. They will be expected to maintain the condition and quality of your tools. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS All employees are required to support Rosenbauer s Mission, Vision, and Values. The following are the essential duties of this position and do not include marginal functions that are incidental to the performance of fundamental job duties. The scope and duties of a given position may change or be temporarily altered based on the business needs of Rosenbauer. Be efficient in tools/equipment to sand, grind, and apply body filler to the apparatus to prepare for paint. Masks off parts of the raw truck body and completes final preparations for it to be painted. Compares to spec book and follows along with guidelines to best prepare the body. Wipes down the exterior of the fire truck with wax and grease to make the product more visually appealing. Inspects for flaws, dents, or imperfections on the truck s body. Performs other duties and responsibilities as required by management to meet the needs of the organization and our members. Tools to be utilized: Hand tools, power tools, grinders, air buffer/sander, and air blowers.
