Job Shift: Shift 1

Shift Details: Full-time position for a Licensed Practical Nurse providing adult psychiatric care, working 40 hours per week, from 7am to 3:30pm, every other weekend and holidays.

Job Summary: The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides holistic, cost-effective nursing care for adult patients with mental health and dual diagnosis substance use disorders. The LPN practices under the supervision of a licensed Registered Nurse and reports to the Unit Manager.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Nursing program with a minimum Associate degree; Bachelor's degree preferred. Associate degree hires must obtain a BSN within 6 years of hire date.
  • Application to sit for CT RN license must be completed and licensing obtained within 90 calendar days of graduation date.
  • Demonstrates ability to develop, deliver and evaluate patient care
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and ability to work collaboratively.
