Let our physicians provide you with the right treatments and procedures for your overall health and mental well-being. Capsule endoscopy is many times referred to as the "pill cam." This is a procedure used to diagnose digestive diseases and cancer by examining the three portions of your small intestine. It does this by using a tiny camera the size of a large vitamin pill. The patient swallows the camera and it travels through the body. It then records images. These images are sent to a data recorder worn on the physician's waist belt
