What You'll Get to Do

The Truck Driver – CDL Class A is focused on the handling, load/unloading of glass, secure the load, make multiple deliveries, and provide excellent customer service and reports to the Fleet Manager.

This role is perfect for an individual who safety minded, organized and good customer relations skills. A vital member of the Fleet Department, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.

Job responsibilities include:
  • Ensure trucks are operating efficiently by performing thorough daily pre and post trip inspections
  • Maintain truck and driving records by reporting information, completing driver logs, and truck performance forms
  • Comply with organization operational policies, procedures, and standards, as well as state and local driving rules and regulations
  • Regular and predictable attendance, the ability to safely perform tasks, and adherence to all safety policies and procedures are essential functions of your job
What We Are Looking For
  • At least 21 years old with two (2) years of verifiable, accident-free driving experience, or completed a DOT driver training class from an accredited truck driving school (we will train the right candidate through our comprehensive driver's training program).
  • Meet all DOT requirements.
  • Valid Class A license with an acceptable motor vehicle record
  • Ability to obtain a medical examiner's certificate of physical qualification.
