JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. The ideal candidate will independently plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care in patient care situations using standards of care, policy and procedure. This role requires providing direct nursing care to patients while assuming teaching and leadership responsibilities. Additionally, the successful candidate will participate in shared decision making, unit committee, and quality improvement activities.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as RN in acute care
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the State of Florida
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
  • Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification required from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
