A day in the life...

Wondering what a day in the life of a Part-Time CT Tech in Medical Imaging at The Iowa Clinic might look like?
  • Arrive at work in the morning - no night shifts here
  • Performs Computed Tomography under the direction of a Radiologist, at a technical level.
  • Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for Computed Tomography.
  • Performs a variety of diagnostic and interventional examinations.
Required Licenses
  • ARRT certification and Current State of Iowa permit to practice required.
Other Requirements
  • Completion of AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology required
  • Two years applicable clinical experience in medical imaging and systems environment required.
