Join Samaritan Hospital's dedicated team as a Locum with Trusted Locum Staffing, that transitions into a Perm Psychiatrist position in the Adult Inpatient Unit. This is a fantastic opportunity to transition to a permanent position, starting in September. You will work alongside a team of professionals in a supportive and secure environment, providing high-quality psychiatric care.
Position Details:- Type: Locum to Perm
- Unit: General Adult Behavioral Health (30 beds, 15 patients per provider)
- Total Inpatient Beds: 63 beds (split among 4 inpatient physicians, 1 opening)
- Outpatient Team: 5 physicians and 3 APPs at full staffing
- EMR: EPIC
- Safety/Security: 24/7 security guards; all staff attend codes
- Credentialing: Facility can credential within 4 weeks
- Provide comprehensive psychiatric care to adult patients in the inpatient unit.
- Occasionally evaluate children in the crisis unit during weekend calls and facilitate their transfer to an adolescent facility if admitted.
- Board Certified: Required
- ACLS: Required
- NY License: Must have at the time of submission
- Clean Background: Required for quick credentialing
- Travel Reimbursement: Available
- Credentialing: Reduced time of 4 weeks
- Transition to Permanent Role: Potential for a permanent position with a $25k perm cap
- Shift Type: Days
- Shift Description: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
- Weekend Requirements: 1:4
