Dental Hygienist

Overview

Provider. Advocate. Educator. A dental hygienist has an integral role in helping patients achieve their best oral health. This is a part time position in this office with the option to do full time floating in other offices nearby.

Schedule (days/hours)

M-F 8am - 5pm with 1 Saturday per month 8-5 (Open to part-time or full-time if willing to float in other offices)

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional patient care and create a welcoming environment for all patients in alignment with our G3 model (Greeting, Guiding, Gratitude)
• Promote a Safe Smile Space (S3) for everyone, where safety and inclusion are paramount
• Provide dental prophylaxis and periodontal treatments
• Screen patients' periodontal health
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
• Perform oral cancer screenings
• Screen for individual needs including malocclusion and educate patients about potential impacts
• Continually develop leadership capabilities and business acumen through continued learning opportunities provided both externally and by Smile Brands

Qualifications

• • Either an active state hygiene license or eligibility to become licensed (new grads are welcome)
  • A current CPR certification

Compensation

$50 -$60 per hour
