Its 18-bed emergency department serves as the island’s Primary Stroke Center. The medical center also has four birthing suites, seven intensive care beds and 20 same-day surgery beds. Wilcox is the first American College of Surgeons-verified Level III Trauma Center in the state of Hawai‘i. Here, clients receive health screenings, diagnostic tests and treatment services in bone health and osteoporosis, menopause, ultrasound, women’s counseling and coaching, aesthetics, massage, acupuncture and various educational classes geared toward healthy living. As the Lead Mammography Technologist, you will help the Imaging Services department at Wilcox’s Women Center provide the highest quality diagnostic services to our patients and their families. In this role, you will assist with daily operations of the department and perform routine and complex diagnostic procedures on patients. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and attention to quality control, the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision and a commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai‘i’s people. Location: Wilcox Medical Center, Lihue, HI Work Schedule: Day - 10 Hours Work Type: Full Time Regular FTE: 1.000000 Bargaining Unit: Non-Bargaining Starting Hourly Rate: 53.77 Exempt: No Minimum Qualifications: Current Hawai‘i Radiologic Technologist license. Registered Mammography Technologist (RT)(M) with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT). Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card. Two (2) years clinical mammography technologist experience. Preferred Qualifications: Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT)(R) with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT). Lead or supervisory experience preferred. Experience in other modalities.
