This position will be remotely based. We are unable to offer work sponsorship for this role.
What are you?
We are seeking a Python Developer to join our team and help us develop solutions for file sharing with our partners. You come with a strong background in Python development, SQL, knowledge of different file formats, and are able to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Your impact with us:
- Create and modify code in Python according to project requirements
- Test code, debug and find bugs in code
- Parsing data from multiple file formats (TXT, CSV, XSL, XLSX, XML, EDI) with file sizes up to 1GB in size
- Ensure Python code, when executed, is efficient and well written to UAT and Production environments
- Update any out-of-date code to Python
- Collaborate with other developers, project leads and stakeholders to understand the project requirements
- Provide solutions to data requirement challenges to ensure successful data integrations
What you bring:
- Bachelor's Degree required
- At least 2 years of Python development experience
- At least 1 year of SQL exposure
- Strong knowledge of workflows such as Git, PyCharms, and Jira
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Ability to effectively manage, prioritize and organize projects/tasks and initiatives
- Team Player - embraces collaboration and contributes to the team's overall success
- Eagerness to independently solve problems and be a part of creating long-term solutions
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills for long-term solutions
- Strong communication sills to work with cross functional teams and within various levels of management in the organization
- API knowledge is a plus
