SUMMARY
ANSYS, Inc. seeks R&D Engineer II to work in Lebanon, NH
RESPONSIBILITIES
• The R&D Engineer II will contribute to the development of software products and supporting systems.
• Collaborate with a team of expert professionals to understand customer requirements and accomplish development objectives.
• Perform moderately complex development activities, including the design, implementation, maintenance, testing and documentation of
software modules and sub-systems.
• Perform moderately complex bug verification, release testing and beta support for assigned products.
• Research problems discovered by QA or product support and develops solutions.
• Understand the marketing requirements for a product, including target environment, performance criteria and competitive issues.
• Works under the general supervision of a development manager.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a
related field of study.
• Alternate Acceptable Education and Work Experience Requirement: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science,
Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or a related field of study, and two (2) years of experience in a
related position.
• Work experience or academic coursework must have included:
• Experience with computational fluid dynamics;
• Experience with numerical analysis and finite volume methods;
• Experience with programming languages including C, C++ or Fortran;
• Experience with segregated solution algorithms including SIMPLE, SIMPLEC, SIMPLER, or PISO;
• Experience with Parallel programming or Git
• Additional work location information: May permit telecommuting within commuting distance to Lebanon, NH office
