Summary:
Under the guidance and supervision of the Registered Nurse, the Radiology Tech participates as a member of the OR team in planning, preparing and providing a safe and effective OR experience for patients undergoing surgery.
During times when there are no radiology activities, the employee will provide data entry tasks for HST operating system, perform case logging, facilitate case flow throughout the facility and other duties as assigned by the management.
Required:
High School Graduate or equivalent.
Graduate of an accredited School of Radiology Technology.
Maintain State certificate as a Certified Radiology Technician with fluoroscopy permit.
Minimum of 3 years O.R. experience preferred.
Surgical center experience preferred.
BLS certification required.
