Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer Responsibilities Design and develop electrical systems and components, focusing on components such as transformers, inductors, and reactors. Perform detailed calculations to establish standards and specifications. Use computer-assisted engineering and design software to perform engineering tasks. Direct and coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements. Perform detailed analyses to assess designs' or applications' feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements. Specify system components or direct modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications. Research and test manufacturing and assembly methods and materials. Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation and make recommendations to the maintenance crew. Essential Skills Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks, and other engineering design software. Electrical design experience from scratch, with everything custom designed per client. Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer, ideally in the manufacturing sector, focusing on magnetic components. Strong understanding of electrical engineering codes and safety standards. Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred. Experience within a manufacturing environment. Ability to provide input on projects and be creative. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $48.08 - $57.69 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
