Description:
- Develop cross-category product strategies to support brand initiatives.
- Have a detailed knowledge of the cross-category product needs, guest and demography data and market trends to influence strategies.
- In partnership with Planning and Location Strategy, coordinate the quarterly kick-off sessions and hindsight sessions with the Product Development teams.
- Lead the relationships with Site-specific Commercial and Marketing teams to understand and capitalize on Site initiatives and to drive commercialization of merchandise-specific initiatives.
- Lead relationships with Corporate Alliances and Operating Participants to improve the org value.
- Work with the Franchise team to develop strategies to support key franchise and alliance initiatives.
- Lead ongoing analysis of results, in season performance and trends to improve business results and support future decisions.
- Develop strong relationships with cross-functional partners and bring partners along for the journey so communication and function is seamless in the product development lifecycle.
- 5+ years of dynamic experience in Merchandise or an analytical role.
Experience in Merchandising/Planning for vertical specialty retail environment. - Experience working with multiple partners in commercial, marketing, planning, buying, and visual merchandising.
- Demonstrated ability to manage revenue creation while maintaining brand integrity.
- Strategic problem solver with the ability to drive execution against a financial plan.
- Demonstrated social skills and ability to influence a diverse audience including experience working with external partners and business owners.
- The ability to build & cultivate partnerships across functions & departments within The Walt Disney Corporation.
- Well-developed Communication & Analytical skills.
- Proven track record to think creatively and disruptively to bring and infuse new insights to the business.
