
Respiratory Therapy Specialist

The Respiratory Therapy Specialist is responsible for setting up highly technical equipment such as ventilators, monitors, and CPAP units in a timely and professional manner. Additionally, this role involves providing patient education and performing complete patient assessments in accordance with policies and procedures. The Specialist may also facilitate prescription collection and maintain patient records in compliance with accreditation standards.
Requirements:
- Familiarity with equipment and services provided in the home health care setting, or other experience in patient care
- Minimum of two years experience in home health care (Level 2)
- Excellent human relations skills
- Computer literacy
- Valid state license and, if applicable, current National Board of Respiratory Care Credentials
- Able to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds
