Plumbing Foreman - Lead, Inspire, and Build with W.N. Kirkland
Are you a natural leader with a passion for construction and a commitment to quality? As a Plumbing Foreman at W.N. Kirkland Plumbing & Mechanical, you'll play a key role in delivering top-tier results while leading a dedicated team of foremen and plumbers. Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you'll be at the forefront of our projects, ensuring every detail meets our high standards and that our clients receive exceptional service.
What You'll Do:
- Lead with Vision: Collaborate closely with leadership to understand company goals, and inspire your team to achieve and exceed them, ensuring project profitability.
- Problem Solver: Anticipate issues before they arise and develop effective solutions to keep projects on track and prevent future challenges.
- Hands-On Project Management: Conduct physical surveys, material takeoffs, and thorough project reviews. You'll plan, coordinate, and oversee on-site activities including scheduling, material control, and daily supervision of assigned projects.
- Safety First: Ensure that all site personnel comply with safety programs, project procedures, and company policies. You'll document any incidents, recommend corrective actions, and work with the safety officer to maintain a secure job site.
- Quality Assurance: Guarantee that every project meets or exceeds industry standards. Perform quality assurance checks, complete job-site walks with clients, and ensure all start-up sheets for assets are completed and submitted.
- Client and Subcontractor Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with current and future clients, subcontractors, and the entire construction team. Your proactive communication and scheduling will drive the success of every project.
- Team Development: Recognize the potential in your team members. Track their progress, recommend promotions and bonuses, and assist in interviewing and onboarding new talent.
- Leadership and Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to multi-task, follow up diligently, and manage your time effectively.
- Professionalism: You'll represent W.N. Kirkland with a polished appearance and professional demeanor.
- Construction Expertise: Experience with government facilities is a plus, and a strong understanding of construction practices, safety requirements, and quality standards is essential.
