Adolescent Psychiatric Registered Nurse

- Part Time, 32 hours per week, Day/evening rotation
- Provides direct patient care to adolescent behavioral health patients
- Performs initial and on-going bio-psychosocial assessments
- Participates in treatment team conferences
- Implements and revises nursing plan of care for patients
- Evaluates patient's response to interventions
- Provides direct patient care according to physician's order
- Recognizes changes in patients' status and revises plan of care as necessary
- Delegates aspects of care to other nursing personnel
- Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to behavioral health patients
Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) required, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Must be able to manage out of control patients using MOAB training methods
- Licensed Registered Nurse credential from the Connecticut Department of Public Health
- Certified BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
