Job Description – Veterinary Receptionist

Village Crossroad Animal Hospital is a high quality, integrative animal practice. We are seeking a full-time experienced Veterinary Receptionist.

Job Requirements

Applicants should be skilled in the following areas: excellent communication and phone skills, ability to multitask, knowledge of Avimark and strong computer skills. Our employees play an integral role in providing exceptional care to our patients as well as facilitating accurate and timely communication with our clients.

As a receptionist, your responsibilities include but are not limited to: answering phones, checking in and out clients with their pets, typing, mailing, data entry, filing, working with office machines and computers, and general finance.

Applicants must be able to work calmly under pressure, while maintaining accuracy.

A minimum of two years’ veterinary receptionist experience is preferred. Vet assistance experience is a plus

Candidates must be confident, have a strong work ethic, and be able to work well as part of a team. Strong communication skills, good energy, and a love for companion pets is a must This position will require the veterinary receptionist to work five days a week from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with a total of 40 hours a week.
