Senior Mental Health Clinician

This position provides direct and indirect clinical services to adults in need of mental health care, including crisis assessment, individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, treatment planning, case management, and patient/family education.

Candidates must have a Master's degree and be licensed as a Clinical Social Worker, Alcohol and Drug Counselor, Professional Counselor, or Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of Connecticut. Experience with Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and familiarity with abuse and neglect reporting is preferred.

The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, computer competency, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. They should be able to function effectively in a fast-paced environment and work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team.

Key responsibilities include participating in clinical supervision, conceptualizing and organizing data, respecting cultural differences in treatment approaches, establishing treatment goals with patients, and collaborating with community providers and agencies.
