Job Summary
In this position, the Line Operator position plays a key role in the organization's efficient operation ensuring that goals are met surrounding safety, productivity, quality, and on-time delivery providing a great customer experience.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Sets up and operates various production processing lines including Temper Mill/Cut To Length Line, Automatic Packaging Line, Plasma Cutter, Laser Cutting Line and Press Brake Forming Line in a team environment setting.
  • Operates manual shear for sample testing.
  • Produces quality products to customer specifications.
  • Identifies non-conforming materials.
  • Maintains daily production KPI goals.
  • Performs data entry for processed fulfilled orders.
  • Operates Forklifts, Electric Overhead Cranes and Warehouse Tractor.
  • Maintains housekeeping in work area.
Position Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Able to read a tape measure down to a 1/32nd of an inch.
  • Able to use and read micrometers and calipers.
  • 3-5 years or more experience in cut to length line setting preferred.
  • Steel industry background preferred.
  • Overhead crane experience preferred.
  • Experience with mobile equipment preferred.
