Woodland Heights Medical Center ICU/SD Department is now hiring a PRN Pharmacy Tech to work in our thriving 149-bed acute care hospital. Our Pharmacy Technicians integrate standards of care into our daily practice that includes: commitment, effective communication, customer service, responsiveness, sense of ownership and positive attitudes.

What does a Pharmacy Tech I do for Woodland Heights Medical Center?

Job Duties:

  • Maintains and optimizes the automated dispensing systems and temperature monitoring system.
  • When requested, Assists the pharmacist in the preparation of IV admixtures, filling medication requests, and maintaining pharmacy inventory.
  • Your main role will be Medication Reconciliation.

  • Certified as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Texas
  • IV Certification is a requirement for this position
  • Familiarity with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Certification with the National Pharmacy Technician Certification Board is preferred
Working Hours:
  • All shifts are 8 hour shifts
  • Every other weekend required
  • Holidays as required
