Shift Information: Full-Time - Days 7 AM - 7:30 PM - every 4th weekend

  • The CT Technologist performs diagnostic CT examinations and assists physicians with invasive CT procedures.
  • Prepares examinations for interpretation, maintains radiation safety and assists with maintaining supplies.
  • Performs and documents diagnostic CT examinations upon the order of an approved healthcare provider.
  • Performs appropriate handoff and continuity of care communication to the next caregiver.
  • Analyzes CT examinations for quality control purposes.
  • Prepares completed examinations for interpretation by the radiologist.
  • Operates all CT and related equipment.
  • Operates all facility-based computer systems.
  • Administers oral and intravenous contrast media under the direction of physician/per protocol.
  • Transports, moves and positions patients in a safe and appropriate fashion.
  • Assists physicians with special procedures involving the use of CT.
  • Participates in quality assurance / quality control activities as related to CT.
