Job Description

Summary

Inspect work in progress and ensure that all proper construction methods and protocol are followed. Verify that work is performed to customer specifications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Oversee adherence to customer specifications

• Oversee the plow blade as it goes into the ground to plow the cable

• Oversee the contractor's performance

• Verify the contractor's decisions prior to the plow going into the ground

• Monitor each customer's request as it pertains to the contract, on the site

• Make sure all NESC specifications are followed

• Make sure all Company Safety standards are adhered to

• Log and report daily production

• Verify the customer's quality control processes are adhered to and work meets customers' expectations

Requirements

Qualifications

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. • Two years prior experience in inspecting

• Working knowledge of underground construction

• Know and understand NESC safety specifications

• Know and understand company safety policy

• Be able to walk and stand for long periods of time

• Use and understand a probe to measure depth

Education and/or Experience

Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
