Position Overview: The Construction Foreman will safely and effectively lead and maintain operation of their assigned crew. They will ensure all operations comply with applicable federal, state, and local regulations and follow and adhere to all safety protocols. Extensive travel out of the Brainerd Lakes Area in addition to overnight travel will be expected. Key Responsibilities: Provide communication and direction to crew members. Implement and perform steps to complete jobs in a timely manner. Performing duties of operator and/or laborer. Ability to operate all construction equipment. Setting daily production goals. Conducting daily walk-throughs and monitoring and adhering to safety processes and procedures. Ensuring accurate and up to date DOT documentation. Conducting weekly toolbox talks. Load, unload, tie-down & secure tools, materials and equipment. Maintaining and submitting required reporting. Setting up safety perimeters using signage, cones and safety barriers and at times flagging traffic. Performs all other related duties as assigned by management.* *These tasks do not meet the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 definition of essential job functions and are usually less than 5% of time spent.
