Union County Common Pleas Court Paralegal DESCRIPTION The Union County Common Pleas Judge is now seeking a full-time Paralegal. Under administrative direction of the Magistrate, the Paralegal will perform legal research; draft orders, bench notes, bench briefs; attend pertinent court proceedings; serve as court contact for attorneys and pro-se litigants on civil cases; serve as backup bailiff; assist with specific criminal and domestic cases as needed; and perform routine clerical and administrative tasks as needed. If you meet the requirements below and are interested in delivering exceptional court services to the residents of Union County, we encourage you to apply QUALIFICATIONS Completion of an associate's degree or bachelor's degree in paralegal studies; two (2) or more years of related experience; or any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Selected individual must also be capable of passing a comprehensive pre-employment background investigation. LICENSURE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Paralegal certification preferred.
