Job Description
Job Title: Registered Nurse - Telemetry I

Job Specialty: Telemetry Nursing

Job Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, Every Other Weekend

Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours per Week

Experience: Experience with cardiac drips preferred

License: Registered Nurse License

Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) preferred

Must-Have:
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Experience in telemetry and cardiac drips preferred

Job Description:
- Provide care in the telemetry unit, monitoring patients with heart conditions.
- Float within medical/surgical/telemetry units as needed.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care.
- Perform regular patient assessments and document observations accurately.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician guidelines.
- Educate patients and their families about ongoing health care needs.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards of practice.
