Quality Technician I - Freeburg, IL
Rate: $25/hr - Paid Weekly
Shift: 1st Shift 6am-3pm, Monday through Friday

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide feedback in the review and update of inspection plans for fabricated components and finished goods
  • Provide feedback in support of root cause and corrective actions to reduce internal process scrap.
  • Ensure timely reporting of scrap.
  • Perform daily audits, inspections and reliability tests as prescribed in inspection plans.
  • Receives guidance as required from Quality Engineer.

Skills and Experience
  • High school diploma or higher
  • Certified inspector qualification preferred or past experience.
  • Exhibits knowledge and interpretation of blueprints
  • Understanding and use quality measurement tools; digital calipers, micrometers, special gauges, comparator, tensile tester
  • Five (5) plus years experience
  • Strong computer skills; Word, Excel, SAP preferred
