Job Description:

Required skills and qualifications
  • Deep experience with Python, Java, or Scala
  • Experience with Spark
  • Familiarity with microservice architecture
  • Strong client-facing experience as a data engineer/consultant
  • Strong understanding of analytics and data science
  • Sql
  • Microservice
  • Spring
  • Responsible for design, prototyping and delivery of software solutions within the big data eco-system
  • As a team member designing and implementing solutions based on Big Data software to solve customer business problems
  • Also is responsible for explaining and researching the technical capabilities of BMC's products vs our competition
  • Participate in vendor landscape and technology assessments (covering for example Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, TensorFlow)
  • Advisory and recommendations on Big Data technologies and products including hardware and software
