ResponsibilitiesAssist in the definition and execution of tasks towards the delivery of technical solutionsInstallation, testing and commissioning of hardware sensors and devicesBasic configuration of computing platform operating systems (primarily Linux) and software applicationsInstallation and configuration of software applications in test and production systemsTroubleshooting of hardware and software componentsIdentify issues and potential associated resolution approachesSupport design and architecture efforts towards definition of technology systemsResearch of hardware and software solutions to address specific business requirementsTranslate business requirements into technical requirementsSupport technical overseeing of 3rd party technology vendorsReview of design artifacts provided by technology vendors and ability to assess requirements complianceSupport testing and QA efforts toward definition and creation of test plans, test procedures and test executionSupport data analysis efforts to validate systems functionalitySupport creation of test results in PowerPoint and/or Excel like filesSupport in definition, creation and execution of transition plans to address replacements and/or enhancements of hardware and software componentsWork with Project Managers and Technical Leads to create project plans, schedules and timelinesProvide periodic progress reports on assigned tasksAuthor content for technical documentationMinimum RequirementsUniversity Bachelors level degree in engineering technical discipline
