School Nurse (RN) - Short-Term Assignment

Spindle Staffing is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse for a short-term assignment at an elementary and middle school in Hollis, NH. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday with consistent weekly pay.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide health assessments, screenings, and first aid to students and staff as needed.
  • Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and school policies.
  • Monitor and manage students with chronic health conditions, allergies, and special needs.
  • Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate care until further assistance arrives.
  • Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized health plans for students with complex medical needs.
  • Maintain accurate health records, including immunization records, medication logs, and incident reports.
  • Educate students and staff on health-related topics and promote a healthy school environment.

Qualifications:

  • Valid RN license in the state of New Hampshire.
  • Previous experience working in schools or pediatric healthcare settings preferred.
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • CPR and First Aid certification required.
