Responsibilities Ascension Sacred Heart Bay is looking for an experienced CV Surgery PA that is proficient in EVH. This role will be a mix of clinic, surgical assist (vein harvesting) and hospital rounding. Experience in specialty/EVH is required for consideration. Position Highlights: Tertiary care and regional heart center Endoscopic Vein Harvesting (Maquet Hemopro) Collegeal group with a range of experience Live and work on the beautiful Gulf Coast of FL Responsibilities: Obtains patient history and performs assessment. Orders, performs and interprets diagnostic procedures. Provides and documents direct treatment and management of health conditions. Provides counseling and education of patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options and community resources. Performs preventative health assessments, screening, immunizations and care. Requirements Licensure/Certification/Registration: BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Physician Assistant credentialed from the Florida Physician Assistants obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Education: Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program. Master's degree preferred. Work Experience: 1 year of experience preferred.
