About New Life Residential Treatment Center Many of the girls arrive at New Life after experiencing severe abuse or neglect. These courageous young women are between the ages of 11-17, and they begin to grow and heal through in-depth clinical therapy, personal development activities and spiritual care in a safe setting. Girls stay an average of six to eight months and begin to feel a restored sense of hope in their futures - thanks to the support of New Lifes staff and therapists specializing in Trauma-Informed Care. Often during the healing process, girls discover special interests and talents and begin to live a healthy lifestyle. Many girls are either reunited with biological family or connected with a loving foster family after living at New Life. What You'll Do The Case Manager Aide is responsible for providing administrative support to the medical department to ensure services are provided to the youth in a timely manner. Under direct supervision from the Clinical Director, the Case Manager Aide will act as a resource to the medical coordinator and act as a liaison between the referring agency, the community, professional services, and youth, agency standards, and licensing. Responsibilities We Are Warriors | We Set the Standards for Child Welfare Work Standards Aid case managers and support youth under supervision from the Clinical Director. Conduct needs assessment, obtain pertinent information, and establish program goals for youth Coordinate any identified needs for minor through community-based services Assisting with Service Plan (ISP) and assessments within appropriate time frames of youth placement under supervision from Clinical Director. Other duties and projects as assigned. Communication Assist with filing, closing, and with overall daily maintenance of records Assist Medical Coordinator in completing, updating, and maintaining records of all resident interactions, contacts, behavior issues, and resident progress; collect and compile relevant case history information; ensure all medical files include the required documentation and required forms; maintain medical files in accordance with Agency policies, licensing standards and other federal, state, and local regulatory requirements; ensure all case files are always audit ready Ensure the privacy of all resident information and case files; always comply with HIPPA/HIPAA guidelines ```{=html} ``` - Complete and submit all medical documentation and upload into Evolv within 48 hours. Assist as required in transporting minors to any required services Provide after-hour services during periods of high influx with medical or emergency needs. Preferred Qualifications Bilingual in English and Spanish (Based on service area and service population) 1 year of experience working with children Experience with the residential treatment, foster care, and juvenile system Physical Demands and Work Conditions This position requires sitting and looking and using a computer for long periods of time Lift, push, pull, move up to 50 lbs.
