Position Summary/Purpose:

In this specialized imaging role, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver top-tier imaging services, including ultrasound, CT scans, interventional radiology, and nuclear medicine. As a CT/X-Ray Technologist, your primary responsibility is to perform all imaging and clinical tasks related to CT and X-ray technology. Additionally, you will execute advanced imaging techniques and assist Radiologists with interventional procedures that require CT guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpreting the orders provided by the physician or other prescribing medical professional.
• Explaining what will happen during the CT scan to patients.
• Positioning patients properly to take the necessary images.
• Administering IVs that contain contrast dyes to enhance imaging.
• Examining images to ensure they're usable.
• Updating patient medical information.
• Cleaning and maintaining CT scan equipment.
• Keeping an inventory of CT scan supplies and making orders for supply restocks as required.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Education:
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program (required).
• Certification / Licensure:
  • ARRT Registered (required).
  • BLS certification (required).
