J.M. Canty Inc, is a multi-national world-renowned Process Engineering manufacturing company in Lockport, NY and Dublin Ireland established in 1977. We specialize in the manufacture of vision-based process control systems, particle sizing systems and process lighting, sight glasses for a variety of industries including Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Chemical, Oil & Gas, Glass, Food and Mining Industries.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Include but are not limited to:

Inspects all manufactured, incoming parts per drawings and records any deficiencies

Inspect parts using CMM and standard shop measuring tools

Creates and maintains inspection reports for each job coming thru QC

Labels parts: part number, heat number; creates any routing paperwork for furnace parts

Separates non-conforming parts and obtains instructions on further processing from Engineering

Assists with tooling organization

Assists with material organization and control

Detect any concerns or issues with manufactured parts

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or GED

Experienced in Windows based software databases

Ability to express ideas clearly both in written and oral communications

Experience with CMM and machining procedures a Plus

Excellent problem-solving and prioritizing skills with a keen attention to detail

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
