Job Description:

The Refractory Tech under supervision, assist with daily activities in the refectory department, including preparing parts, tools, and work schedules. Participate in interpreting departmental drawings and perform various installation activities such as studding mastic, forming, pouring, gunning, insulating, lagging, and trimming. Support team members in completing job functions as directed by the supervisor. Understand departmental operating procedures and safety policies. Ensure quality and continuous improvement within the job scope.

Requirements:

Candidates must have completed a departmental apprenticeship, with one year of experience in refractory work preferred. Proficiency in various tasks such as studding, mastic application, forming, pouring, gunning, insulation, lagging, trimming, and bricklaying is required. Additionally, the ability to work efficiently in a repetitive environment is essential.
