This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that time working will regularly take place inside and outside of a company office.

This position involves analyzing complex data to assess factors affecting business profitability, growth, and efficiency. The role also includes supporting strategic initiatives to address identified issues, evaluating current practices, collecting information and industry trends, and developing process improvements. The Senior Credit Analyst will be responsible for delivering trusted report and analytical solutions for portfolio monitoring and identification of emerging risks within Credit Administration.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Advising: Developing a trusted advisor atmosphere and brand, becoming ingrained in the business segment operations, and providing insights to stakeholders.
  • Reporting: Creating ad-hoc and recurring reports, presentations, and memos by interpreting complex datasets, researching economic conditions, and combining internal stress testing results and analytics in a clear, concise, and understandable manner.
  • Meetings and Presentations: Attending various Credit Administration meetings to gain relevant knowledge of emerging risks and changes in credit appetites, policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Growth and Improvement: Continuously enhancing knowledge & skills regarding analytical tools, techniques, and methodologies and proactively looking for opportunities to enhance current analytical capabilities and develop new analysis and reporting to better support Credit Administration and the various Business Segments.

Qualifications:

Basic Requirements: Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Analytics, or modeling, or reporting OR High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in Analytics, or modeling, or reporting. Proficient in SAS applications, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio, and database management experience.

Preferred Requirements: Experience in Banking and Finance Industry, preferably within credit analysis, underwriting or credit risk oversight. Experience using Microsoft Office products (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams) and Business Intelligence software (Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, and SQL).
