POSITION OVERVIEW

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing maintenance and repairs for Boomers facility.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for performing routine inspections.
  • Performpreventative maintenance on various equipment including attractions.
  • Maintain, erect, repair and troubleshoot various attractions.
  • Respond to calls for maintenance checks and attractions shutdowns;diagnose mechanical concerns and perform repairs in a timely, efficient, and safe manner.
  • Remove and/or replace worn or defective parts using hand and/or power tools.
  • Document information in designated log books for completion of inspections, corrective action, and/or repairs made.
  • Must be able to work efficiently and manage time without direct supervision.
  • Must work safely in accordance with OSHA Standards and Company policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid state driver license.
  • Minimum two years experience in mechanical/industrial maintenance or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Experience with door repairs, tile installation, drywall installation, and painting area plus.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Physical requirements include lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 100 pounds.
  • Must possess the mental and physical capacities necessary to perform the primary job duties, including climbing and working at heightsof up to 130 feet, crawling, and working in confined spaces.
  • Must be able to walk, stand, bend, kneel, stoop, and twist.
  • Once certified, operateattractions, forklift, Bobcat, air compressor, diagnostic equipment, and power tools, etc.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Bilingual is a plus.
  • Ability to comprehend data contained in handbooks, safety regulations, operating and maintenance instructions.
  • Must be able to trouble-shoot clearly, calmly, and safely in the presence of Guests and fellow Team Members.
  • Must be able to work outdoors, and may be required to work evenings, weekends, and/or holidaysas needed.
  • May be required to travel to other Boomers locations.
