Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide one-on-one therapy to children and families.
  • Complete a psychosocial assessment of clients and develop a clinical treatment plan.
  • Put treatment plan into action through comprehensive explanation and coordination with clients.
  • Track all service activity, schedules, and timesheets for submission to the supervisor.
  • Maintain the highest ethical standards regarding practice.
  • Follow the code of conduct and rules for compliance within the organization.

Qualifications:

  • A Master's in Social Work is required.
  • LMSW license is a plus but not required (supervision for LMSW/LCSW licensure is provided).
  • Prior experience working with children, preferably in a mental health or clinic setting, is a plus.
  • Must have excellent problem-solving skills to carry out successful assessments and implement subsequent plans.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are required for interacting with clients in a calm and comforting manner.
