Assists patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living, including but not limited to bathing, grooming, eating, and ambulation. Reports abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff. Assists with keeping patient rooms and common areas stocked, clean and orderly. Job Requirements Minimum EducationHigh school diploma or equivalent Preferred Required SkillsCertifications:One of the following certifications are Preferred:State Registered Nursing Assistant (SRNA)Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Certifications:Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hireHandle with Care to be received within 30 days of orientation and kept annually Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
